Description

Bell Flavors & Fragrances is seeking a Fragrance Project & Formula Management Lead to support the management, accuracy, compliance, and commercialization of fragrance formulas throughout the product lifecycle. This role will serve as a key liaison between Perfumers, Evaluation, Regulatory, Quality, Purchasing, Operations, Sales, Creative, affiliates, and other stakeholders to ensure fragrance formulas meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, cost objectives, and manufacturing capabilities.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in fragrance formula management, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. This position plays an important role in supporting project execution, formula integrity, raw material management, system accuracy, and successful commercialization of fragrance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and govern fragrance formulas within formulation management and ERP systems, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, version control, and lifecycle compliance.
  • Manage formula revisions, raw material substitutions, supplier changes, regulatory updates, cost optimization, and portfolio rationalization.
  • Develop and maintain formula management standards, procedures, and best practices to support consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage the fragrance raw material portfolio, including introductions, activations, inactivation, replacements, and removals.
  • Lead cross-functional implementation of raw material and formula changes in partnership with Perfumery, Regulatory, Quality Control, Purchasing, Operations, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate formula transfers between global Bell locations and ensure accurate system documentation.
  • Support supplier qualification and change management initiatives, including alternative sourcing and ASER-related activities.
  • Coordinate and manage the PSI/commercialization process for the Fragrance Division, ensuring successful progression from development through commercial launch.
  • Lead daily project review meetings, including Morning Meeting, and support timely follow-up on project actions.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and Bell affiliates to help ensure project completion and alignment across functions.
  • Act as a super-user of Fragrance Division systems, including PV/GPM, Dev Ops, Trace Gains, and Microsoft D365.
  • Support business reporting, analysis, project tracking, and other Fragrance Division initiatives aligned with divisional strategy.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in the fragrance industry.
  • Experience with fragrance formula lifecycle management, commercialization processes, and project workflows.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related business systems; experience with Microsoft D365 and PV/GPM preferred.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, quality, and compliance.
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Flexibility and agility in responding to changing priorities and business needs.
