We are seeking a skilled and caring Dental Hygienist to join our team! We are a private, fee-for-service practice providing superb professional dental care that makes our patients feel like family. As a hygienist, you will screen patients, perform dental cleanings, and assist the dentists with exams. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has at least one year of experience.
Day needs are Tuesdays from 9 am–6 pm and possibly Fridays. We offer a comprehensive benefit package with above‑market salary. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating an amazing dental experience, we want to hear from you!
- Provide preventive dental care, including cleaning and polishing teeth, applying sealants, and fluoride treatments.
- Provide Periodontal Therapy which includes but is not limited to Full Mouth Scaling and Root Planing.
- Assess patient oral health and provide education on proper oral hygiene techniques.
- Evaluate teeth and soft tissue for signs of disease or other conditions.
- Obtain x‑rays, panorex, intra‑oral pictures and obtain other diagnostic tests.
- Record medical and dental histories/updates of patients.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating patients’ next recare appointments.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies.
- Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation; bachelor's or master’s degree preferred.
- Current Dental Hygienist licensure.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in dental hygiene.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines.
- Anesthetic certification.
- Laser applications is a bonus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Dental software experience, Dentrix Ascend preferred.
