Glenbrook North High School seeks a dynamic educational professional to serve as the next Associate Dean
. The position will commence on July 28, 2026.

Responsibilities

The Associate Dean is responsible for student support, promoting building safety, and contributing to the development of a positive and welcoming climate. The Associate Dean investigates and resolves all student discipline concerns in accordance with Board Policy and the Illinois School Code, and partners with members of Student Support Teams.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or related field.
  • Professional Educator License with a General Administration or Principal endorsement.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a High School setting preferred.
  • Current knowledge pertaining to best practices in student discipline and student support, interventions, attendance, discipline, and student safety.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide leadership in emergency situations.
  • Other alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
    • Benefits

    This position comes with a competitive compensation package, family health and dental insurance, full tuition reimbursement, and basic life insurance coverage of up to two times the individual's annual base salary, capped at a maximum of $500,000. The base salary for licensed administrators will be determined by placement on the teacher salary schedule, with an additional position-specific factor of 1.11, resulting in a salary range of $96,597 to $124,959.
