11:15am to 1:45pm

Hourly Rate: $36.00 per hour

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Good communication skills and patience with junior high students
• Pass a required Illinois fingerprinting background check

Reports to:
Assistant Principal

Performance Responsibilities:

• Supervise Students: monitor student behavior during lunch lines, inside the cafeteria during lunch periods, and during dismissal
• Maintain Order: ensure students are following behavior expectations in the cafeteria
• Assist Staff: help custodians with reporting major spills or trash issues, and work with food service personnel
• Ensure Safety: know emergency and evacuation plans, and report any injuries or accidents immediately to the main office
• Recess Duty: monitor students outside on the playground or in alternative areas when required
