Operations Engineering Intern

• Work directly with rotational engineers
• Focus on projects assigned by upper management relating to Medline warehouses
• Perform work measurements and standards activities
• Develop process improvements
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis and justification
• Analyze and correct bottlenecks in a Medline warehouse
• Create and implement new standards
• Slot multiple warehouses to improve travel time per line
• Improve cubic utilization within warehouses
• Provide on-site support during technology (robotics) go-lives
• Complete projects ranging from daily activities to large-scale projects throughout the internship

• Rising senior in an undergraduate program
• Background in Engineering, Industrial or Systems preferred
• Junior standing with 3.0 minimum GPA preferred
• Strong leadership abilities and demonstrated problem solving skills
• Motivated self-starter
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement principles is a plus
• Unrestricted permanent US work authorization

Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on process improvements and cost-benefit analysis in warehouse operations. Proficient in Lean Manufacturing principles and capable of implementing new standards to enhance efficiency.
