Senior Accountant

Smaller, well-established holding company, has a new permanent opportunity for a Senior Accountant. Position reports to the CFO with lots of opportunity to learn, take on more, grow. The Senior Accountant will support the CFO on a broad range of accounting and finance work including financial/management reporting, ME close, technical accounting, budgeting, investments, acquisitions and due diligence.

Approximate Salary: 85, per year - Depending on experience

• Financial close process, financial/management reporting for investments
• Financial statements for real estate investments
• Bank reconciliations
• Budgeting
• Treasury & cash management
• Assist with acquisitions due diligence
• Analysis and budget support for private equity and portfolio company operations
• Assist in overseeing, developing, and ensuring compliance for accounting procedures and internal controls
• Providing support, completing special projects and providing ad-hoc reports to management

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business or related
• Accounting experience in manufacturing, industrials, investments, diversified holding company, and/or family office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Experience working in a private equity environment is a plus
