Job Description & How to Apply Below

Lake Shore Therapy Group provides compassionate, high-quality mental health care across the Chicagoland area. We pride ourselves on a warm, close-knit team environment where clinicians genuinely support one another, share insights, and maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering exceptional care.

Position Overview

We are seeking a warm, highly skilled Licensed Therapist to join our collaborative group practice. We have a strong preference for clinicians specializing in either Child & Adolescent Therapy or Adult Therapy.

This is a hybrid role offering flexibility across our locations. You can work out of our Northbrook office, our downtown Chicago Loop office, or split time between both, paired with remote telehealth shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality individual psychotherapy to a diverse caseload aligned with your clinical focus (Children/Adolescents or Adults).
  • Provide excellent documentation and treatment planning, maintaining clear, timely progress notes and evidence-based treatment goals in our EHR system.
  • Actively collaborate with our close-knit team through regular peer consultation, team meetings, and shared clinical support.
  • Conduct thorough initial clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Maintain strict standards of professional ethics, client confidentiality, and quality care.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Clinical Excellence: Excellent clinical skills with a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Licensure: Independent clinical licensure in Illinois (
    LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT
    ) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Candidates working toward full licensure must have a minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience delivering direct therapy.
  • Specialty Focus: Demonstrated clinical expertise working specifically with either Children/Adolescents or Adults.
  • Collaboration & Inclusivity: Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to team collaboration, thorough treatment planning, top-tier clinical documentation, and culturally responsive, inclusive care.
  • Location Flexibility: Ability to work hybrid in-person at either our Northbrook office, our downtown Chicago (The Loop) office, or both, along with remote telehealth shifts.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Pay based on licensure and experience.
  • Work-Life Balance: Target full-time caseload of 20 clients/week with control over your schedule.
  • Robust Administrative Support: Dedicated team handling credentialing, intake calls, client matching, and billing so you can focus entirely on clinical care.
  • Benefits Package: Health/Dental/Vision Insurance, Retirement package, Paid Time Off, CEU stipend
  • Supportive Culture: Monthly case consultation, team lunches, and an approachable, collaborative clinical leadership team.
  • Modern Work spaces: Beautiful, fully furnished office spaces in Northbrook and downtown Chicago.
