Job Description & How to Apply Below

This Is Caregiving-Done Differently.

This is a caregiver position with a unique focus on activity-based dementia care. While you'll provide supportive caregiving as needed, you'll also spend much of your day helping clients stay active, engaged, and connected through meaningful activities, conversation, outings, and person-centered experiences.

If you're looking for a traditional caregiver position where most of your day is spent assisting with personal care tasks, this may not be the right fit.

At Full Bloom Memory Care®, we believe caregiving is about so much more than meeting physical needs. We believe the best dementia care happens through relationships, purpose, creativity, and meaningful engagement.

Our Memory Care Partners don't just provide care-they create meaningful days. Whether it's going for a walk, listening to favorite music, visiting a senior center, playing games, doing a puzzle, baking together, or simply sharing conversation, you'll help clients experience joy, confidence, and connection every day.

If your favorite part of caregiving is building relationships, encouraging independence, creating moments of joy, and helping someone truly enjoy their day, we'd love to meet you.

About Full Bloom Memory Care

Full Bloom Memory Care® is dedicated exclusively to supporting older adults living with dementia and memory loss through compassionate, relationship-centered care.

Our philosophy is simple: people living with dementia deserve more than assistance-they deserve meaningful days filled with purpose, connection, dignity, and joy.

That's why our caregivers do more than complete tasks. We build relationships, create experiences, encourage independence, and help each client remain engaged in the things that matter most to them.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Every day is different because every client is different.

As a Memory Care Partner, you'll combine supportive caregiving with meaningful engagement tailored to each client's personality, interests, and abilities.

A typical day might include:

  • Sharing coffee and conversation to start the morning
  • Going for neighborhood walks
  • Playing games, puzzles, and brain-stimulating activities
  • Listening to music, baking, gardening, or doing crafts
  • Visiting senior centers, parks, or community outings
  • Encouraging independence with daily routines
  • Providing supportive caregiving and personal care as needed
  • Building genuine relationships through companionship and conversation
  • Collaborating closely with our dementia care team

We believe meaningful engagement is just as important as the care we provide.

Who Thrives in This Role?

The best Memory Care Partners aren't just excellent caregivers-they're great connectors.

They naturally enjoy:

  • Building meaningful relationships
  • Keeping conversations going
  • Finding creative ways to engage others
  • Encouraging participation instead of doing everything for someone
  • Staying positive, patient, and adaptable
  • Helping people feel confident, included, and successful

We welcome applicants from both traditional and non-traditional backgrounds.

Many of our strongest Memory Care Partners come from backgrounds such as:

  • Memory care or caregiving
  • Home care or senior living
  • Social work or psychology
  • Behavioral health or mental health services
  • Autism support or behavioral intervention
  • Recreation, activities, or therapeutic programs
  • Early childhood education or daycare
  • Human services and community outreach
  • Youth leadership programs
  • Improv, theater, music, or creative arts
