Health Smart in Northbrook, IL seeks a licensed massage therapist with 5+ years of experience to join our NUCCA-focused chiropractic and therapeutic massage practice. We help patients improve function, reduce pain, optimize posture and performance, and support long-term wellness. You’ll collaborate closely with chiropractors providing therapeutic and sports massage, and patient education. Here’s what’s unique:
You’ll receive specialized mentorship in integrating therapeutic massage within a NUCCA practice, learning how to responsibly support the stability of upper cervical adjustments as part of a collaborative care model. • Strong therapeutic practice skills, including Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage techniques.
• Experience or training in specialized modalities such as Shiatsu and other complementary massage approaches.
• Ability to support client well-being through Stress Management education and relaxation-focused techniques.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a focus on empathy, clear communication, and client comfort.
• Current massage therapy license or certification in the state of Illinois.
• Knowledge of basic anatomy, musculoskeletal conditions, and wellness principles; experience in a chiropractic or clinical setting is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and manage a consistent full-time schedule.
• Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, client confidentiality, and adherence to health and safety standards.
