Opportunity:
General Manager

Linchris Hotel Corporation is seeking an experienced, energetic, and results-driven General Manager to lead the Hilton Chicago/Northbrook
, a full-service hotel featuring 249 guest rooms
, extensive meeting and event space, a full-service restaurant and lounge, and amenities designed to serve both business and leisure travelers.

As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations while driving financial performance, delivering exceptional guest experiences, developing high-performing teams, and maintaining Hilton brand standards. Your Focus Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing management team and hotel staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, engagement, and exceptional service.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top hospitality talent.
Guest Experience
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction while maintaining Hilton brand standards.
  • Drive service excellence through continuous improvement and prompt resolution of guest concerns.
  • Build a culture centered on memorable guest experiences.
Financial Performance
  • Maximize hotel profitability through effective revenue management, expense control, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Analyze financial reports and KPIs to drive strategic business decisions.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
Operational Excellence
  • Oversee all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Sales, and Accounting.
  • Ensure operational efficiency, quality assurance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain exceptional property standards while continuously improving operational performance.
Sales & Community Engagement
  • Partner with the Sales team to grow market share, increase group and corporate business, and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Build relationships within the local business community, tourism organizations, and industry partners to enhance the hotel's presence.
Strategic Planning
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership to execute strategic initiatives that support long-term growth.
  • Identify opportunities to improve guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial performance.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of General Manager experience in a full-service hotel
    .
  • Previous Hilton brand experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong background in Food & Beverage operations
    .
  • Proven success leading hotels with meeting and event space.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, labor management, guest service, and brand standards.
  • Ability to develop and execute annual business plans while consistently achieving financial goals.
