About Our Client:Addison Group is partnering with our client, a growing U.S.
-based manufacturing and distribution organization supporting over 500 union and non-union employees across multiple locations. The organization is focused on operational excellence, employee engagement, and strong HR partnership to support continued growth.
The Human Resources Manager will lead and execute HR strategies across multiple manufacturing and distribution sites. This role serves as a strategic HR Business Partner to plant leadership and operational teams, ensuring consistent HR practices, strong employee engagement, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The position oversees core HR functions including employee and labor relations, talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, and policy administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary HR Business Partner across multiple U.S. sites, aligning HR initiatives with operational goals.
- Interpret and apply company policies while supporting investigations, grievances, and employment-related matters.
- Provide strategic guidance to managers on employee relations, performance concerns, workforce planning, attendance, and safety matters.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify and onboard top talent, ensuring a seamless hiring and onboarding experience.
- Lead and manage employee and labor relations processes, including union-related matters and conflict resolution.
- Support and drive the full performance management cycle, including goal setting, coaching, mid-year and annual reviews.
- Coordinate leadership development and training initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Promote a positive, compliant, and engaging workplace culture across all locations.
- Supervise and develop a direct HR team member while influencing cross-functional leaders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within manufacturing or multi-site environments.
- Experience supporting union and non-union work forces, including grievance processes.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to coach leaders, manage investigations, and drive performance initiatives.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Multi-state HR Business Partner role supporting plant operations.
- High visibility position partnering directly with operational leadership and Corporate HR.
