Role: Sr./Lead Salesforce Developer
Location: Northbrook, IL – Hybrid
Type: Fulltime
What You’ll Do- Collaborate with business partners and product owners to design innovative solutions that solve business needs.
- Serve as an architectural lead for intricate Salesforce solutions, articulating design considerations and influencing feature design.
- Partner with all IT teams to deliver best‑in‑class solutions between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
- Offer technical expertise throughout the development and implementation of Salesforce features.
- Coach, mentor, and guide the team in development standardization and best practices for
- Identify opportunities for acceleration and continuous improvement.
- Configure, develop, and test tailored Salesforce solutions using both declarative and programmatic approaches in accordance with best practices.
- Optimize Salesforce platform performance.
- Generate comprehensive technical documentation.
- Participate in Agile development work streams, contributing from design through deployment.
- Stay up‑to‑date on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.
- 5+ years of Salesforce Developer experience, specializing in Apex, Lightning Components, Salesforce Platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Visualforce, Integrations, and Experience Cloud Development.
- Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Demonstrates innovation, flexibility, and self‑direction, managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to cultivate a team‑oriented environment, mentor, and engage with senior stakeholders in business‑centric dialogue.
- Skilled in documentation for requirements, design, test, and training.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable, high‑performance Salesforce solutions.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- Mandatory certifications:
Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, and Platform Developer I. - Preferred certifications:
Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer II. - Holds a BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
