Cybersecurity Manager – Security Operations
CF Industries is hiring a Cybersecurity Manager – Security Operations to lead the planning, implementation, and ongoing management of the enterprise’s cybersecurity operations, technologies, and processes.
Job SummaryLead the enterprise’s cybersecurity operations, ensuring the protection of organizational assets through continuous monitoring, detection, and response to security threats, while maintaining alignment with industry frameworks such as NIST and company policies.
Core Responsibilities- Oversee cybersecurity operations functions such as security monitoring, threat detection and response, threat hunting, and incident response leadership.
- Manage and optimize key security technologies and processes, including Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), cloud security platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure security and monitoring capabilities), email security hygiene platforms (e.g., email gateway, phishing protection, and anti‑spam solutions), security and threat monitoring solutions, and incident response program alignment.
- Lead security analysts and related technical staff, providing service delivery, operational performance, and adherence to defined SLAs and security standards.
- Coordinate with third‑party SOC providers and vendors for deployment, integration, and configuration of security solutions.
- Translate security risks into business context and align cybersecurity operations with organizational objectives.
- Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture and roadmap.
- Contribute to and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Maintain awareness of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
- Evaluate and implement new security tools and enhancements.
- Collaborate with IT leadership and business stakeholders on security strategy.
- Represent the Cybersecurity team in IT acquisition and deployment discussions.
- Direct support of existing systems, ensuring operational problems are resolved in a timely fashion.
- Coordinate planning and implementation of system design, configuration, programming, installation, and operations.
- Ensure project management practices are followed, including portfolio prioritization, enterprise architecture, and quality assurance.
- Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise systems and data.
- Operate and maintain security technologies across network, endpoint, and cloud environments.
- Drive threat‑hunting activities and lead security incident response processes.
- Oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and audit activities.
- Lead, develop, and manage security operations staff.
- Recruit, retain, and manage IT talent to support business needs.
- Assign personnel, evaluate performance, and conduct performance reviews.
- Mentor subordinates and recommend training and development programs.
- Education:
BS/BA in a related field or equivalent experience. - Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CIH or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of related professional experience; prior supervisory experience required.
- Past experience responsible for a technology or technical function, implementing new technologies from vendors.
- Strong knowledge of OT network segmentation (Purdue Model), firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, network (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN), endpoint and data protection technologies, and NIST‑based incident response processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Base salary $111,400–$156,800, with additional incentive program.
