Job Summary
The Sr. IT Business Systems Analyst for Scheduling – Primavera P6 EPPM serves as a strategic advisor and functional owner for scheduling initiatives across Primavera P6 EPPM, PIF, SAP S/4
HANA, and related systems supporting capital, engineering, maintenance, and turnaround/outage projects at CF Industries.
- Serve as the strategic advisor and primary IT functional lead for scheduling initiatives, partnering business teams and IT for Primavera P6, SAP, and related integrations.
- Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to validate SAP‑to‑P6 data mappings, assess impacts of SAP configuration changes, and support integration and user acceptance testing.
- Analyze business needs with stakeholders and deliver creative scheduling and reporting solutions for capital, engineering, and turnaround/outage projects.
- Deliver functional and technical requirements to development teams and advise decision makers with data visualizations and reporting.
- Lead projects in consultation with IT Security, Infrastructure, business owners, and vendors; manage projects end‑to‑end and communicate status updates.
- Shape the direction of business systems by engaging in system selection and evaluation, defining the IT roadmap, and strategy for PIF and P6.
- Manage operational activities on projects and enhancements, including monitoring resources, documenting status, and addressing issues.
- Act as point person for P6 integration issues with SAP; advise the business on reporting strategies across SAP and P6 data sources.
- Oversee day‑to‑day management of scheduling systems; own disaster recovery for PIF and P6 internal controls.
- Verify adherence to internal control processes, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective measures with Internal Controls Department.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience with Oracle PIF/P6; SAP experience is a plus.
- Expert working knowledge of Oracle PIF‑P6 processes and SAP S/4; strong SAP process literacy.
- Hands‑on experience in SAP configuration (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of PIF/P6 system capabilities and business operations.
- Experience in test planning/coordination and participation in change management boards.
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to learn and apply business knowledge to deliver improvements in solutions and processes.
- Willingness to learn SAP and understand role identity and access as it pertains to PIF and P6.
Estimated base pay: $99,500–$139,900, potentially influenced by education, skills, experience, and scope. An incentive program and comprehensive benefits package are available.
