Barilla is looking for an OT Cyber Security Sr. Analyst to join the OT Cyber Security team. The role is based in Northbrook, IL, Ames, IA, or Avon, NY, with Northbrook being the preferred location. It reports to the Cyber Security OT Manager and will manage OT cybersecurity solutions and OT networking/architectures in plants across the USA and Canada, applying Corporate Cyber Security frameworks to projects for new lines and equipment and supporting Technical Area Managers and Project Engineers in plants to comply with guidelines in OT design, protection, and maintenance.

Accountabilities
  • Preserve industrial asset availability and protect business continuity: act as a reference point for North America plants on cybersecurity topics, lead cybersecurity projects, and support plants to comply with corporate guidelines and industry best practices in OT networking design.
  • Manage regional cybersecurity topics and integrate with HQ functions, reporting to the HQ OT Cybersecurity Manager on local initiatives, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and implement OT cybersecurity solutions and complex OT networking/systems in plants.
  • Monitor OT cybersecurity and cooperate with HQ (IT Plants Security) in managing security events.
  • Apply corporate cybersecurity frameworks (by IT/Technical Development) in new automation projects in plants, adapting to specific plant contexts and needs.
  • Support plant technical area to comply with corporate guidelines and industry best practices in OT design, protection, and maintenance.
  • Perform local OT cybersecurity assessments and audits.
  • Locally deal with cybersecurity/network suppliers and OT suppliers with security impacts.
  • Support the management of the industrial cybersecurity practice within Supply Chain, in accordance with Barilla cybersecurity strategy.
Requirements
  • University degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation (manufacturing/processing/warehousing), IT/OT networking, IT/OT cybersecurity, IT/OT system integration, industrial networking, or Industry 4.0.
  • Self‑empowered managerial approach in daily activities.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Proven track record in managing IT/automation projects in an international context.
  • Ability to drive results.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English;
    French is mandatory for candidates based in Canada, otherwise it is a plus.
  • Willing to travel (up to 50%): frequent trips to plants and warehouses in the USA (Ames, Avon) and Canada (Montreal).
Benefits

The estimated pay range for this role is $82,000‑$95,000 plus eligibility to participate in the annual discretionary bonus plan.
