Sourcing Category Manager – IT Healthcare Software & Platforms
Drive the technology that powers one of the nation's largest healthcare companies. CVS Health is seeking a Sourcing Category Manager to lead strategy for our IT Healthcare Software & Platforms category-spanning medical records software, digital payer tools, revenue cycle tech, claims systems, and VAR management.
What You’ll Do- Own the sourcing strategy for key healthcare technology categories
- Build strong relationships with IT leaders and guide high‑impact sourcing events
- Use market insights, analytics, and vendor intelligence to drive savings and efficiency
- Lead competitive bids (RFX), influence contract strategy, and optimize supplier partnerships
- Represent Procurement on major enterprise initiatives and transformation projects
- Serve as the category expert, presenting insights and opportunities to senior leadership
- 7+ years professional experience, including 5-8 in Sourcing, Procurement, Finance, Analytics, Supply Chain, Consulting, or similar roles
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Bachelor's required; MBA a plus
- Experience with e‑sourcing tools (Ariba eSourcing preferred)
- Hybrid role based in Cumberland, RI;
Hartford, CT; or Buffalo Grove, IL - Onsite 2-3 days per week
- Up to 10% travel

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 – $
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
