Job DescriptionAs a Gemfire Administrator you will be responsible for assisting with the design, implementation, and on-going support of Pivotal Gemfire database.
Experience with and understanding of various database technologies: RDBMS, No
SQL, Hadoop and Gemfire. Expert in Gemfire architecture, design, development Experience with Gemfire load balancing policies Experience with Gemfire plugin interfaces Knowledge of virtualization technologies and concepts is a plus In-depth knowledge of network and distributed internet technologies including TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers and web application architectures is a plus. Expert experience with at least one if not most of the following languages;
python, perl, java, or C++. Experience with XML,HTTP/SOAP and HTTP-direct Experience with gfc,JMX, command line utility,VSD Expert in Object query language Expert in querying and indexing Experience in performance tuning
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 7 years of experience within the Information Technologies.
