Oracle Apps DBA

We are looking for an Oracle EBS Application DBA for a full time direct hire role that is hybrid 3 days per week in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago What You’ll Do

• Design and plan enterprise database systems, including structure, documentation, security, and operational standards
• Manage and support Oracle EBS 12.2.x,
  Oracle Database 19c
  , and Web Logic Server environments
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across platforms
• Develop and enforce database policies, procedures, and best practices
• Support both on-premise and cloud-based (OCI) database environments
• Participate in architecture discussions and influence technical direction
• Build automation tools and scripts to support large-scale systems
• Collaborate on new initiatives, defining database strategy and standards

• Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred)
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Deep expertise in Oracle 19c (or newer) RAC on Linux/Unix
  , including:
• Strong experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.x administration (upgrades, migrations, support)
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Web Logic Server lifecycle management
• Strong Linux/Unix skills and shell scripting expertise
• Experience building automation tools for large-scale systems
• Proven troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Applications (Fusion, EPM, OTM)
