Job Summary
Senior Dev Ops Engineer - Digital Commerce
As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer on the Digital Commerce Engineering team, apply technical expertise to design and automate processes supporting the continuous delivery of modern web applications and services. This role requires hands‑on experience leading Dev Ops initiatives, with emphasis on Jenkins, Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, Bitbucket, Git Hub, Artifactory, Helm, and Datadog.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java, React, APIs, and cloud‑native applications.
- Automate build, testing, security scanning, deployment, release, and rollback processes.
- Support applications deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Automate the deployment, scaling, and management of CI/CD and application infrastructure.
- Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerting using Datadog.
- Integrate Jenkins with Bitbucket, Git Hub, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, testing, and security tools.
- Define and promote CI/CD, Dev Sec Ops , and operational best practices across the SDLC.
- Troubleshoot pipeline, application, Kubernetes, networking, and deployment issues.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Collaborate with development, QA, architecture, security, and operations teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of IT experience in software development, cloud engineering, build, release, or Dev Ops engineering.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on Dev Ops experience designing and implementing enterprise CI/CD solutions.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Git Hub, Git Lab, and Artifactory.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Experience supporting Java services, APIs, React applications, and high‑availability production environments.
- Experience integrating testing, security, compliance, and deployment stages into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Datadog or similar observability tools.
- Experience with Python, Power Shell, Bash, Groovy, or REST API automation.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, ingress, certificates, secrets management, and container security.
- Experience supporting large‑scale eCommerce or Digital Commerce platforms.
- Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or automated testing frameworks.
- Azure, Kubernetes, or Dev Ops certifications.
The anticipated salary range for this position: $ - $ Annual. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
