Paralegal – Trusts & Estates

We are seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal to support a busy estate planning and administration practice. This role focuses heavily on trust and estate administration, including complex estates and ongoing fiduciary management.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing matters independently while working collaboratively with attorneys and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage trust and estate administration matters under attorney supervision
• Assist with estate planning and probate matters
• Prepare probate court filings and related legal documentation
• Maintain organized physical and electronic client files
• Communicate directly with clients, beneficiaries, trustees, financial institutions, and other professionals
• Track and manage deadlines, court dates, and key milestones
• Coordinate document preparation and trust funding activities
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, procedures, and best practices
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Trusts & Estates paralegal experience (5+ years preferred), particularly in trust and estate administration
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently
