Our client, a well-established and growing law firm in the Chicagoland area, is seeking a Trusts & Estates Paralegal to join their expanding T&E department. This is a newly created role due to department growth and offers significant long-term development potential within a stable, professional environment.

The paralegal will work closely with the Managing Partner and alongside a senior T&E paralegal with over 10 years of tenure at the firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a long-term home with meaningful mentorship and hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and prepare estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.)
  • Assist with trust administration and probate matters
  • Prepare and organize asset schedules and related documentation
  • Coordinate with clients regarding documentation and case status
  • Maintain case files and ensure strict attention to detail
  • Manage multiple deadlines and matters in a fast-paced environment
  • Support attorneys with drafting, filings, and administrative processes related to T&E matters
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Trusts & Estates paralegal experience preferred (will consider 2+ years)
  • OR 3+ years as a Legal Administrative Assistant working exclusively in Estate Planning/T&E administration (with growth potential into paralegal role)
  • Strong attention to detail (critical requirement)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Stable work history with longer tenures in prior roles
  • Comfortable working in-office five days per week
  • Commute within approximately 45 minutes preferred
  • Seeking long-term stability and professional growth
