Supply Chain, Inventory Management Intern

• Work directly with senior-level managers on process improvement and business system projects across all aspects of the supply chain
• Optimize supply and demand planning, inventory deployment strategies, and stocking policies
• Extract data, prepare reports, and convert data into information for decision-making
• Analyze warehouse network expansion or contraction impacts for product categories
• Automate vendor lead-time review and maintenance procedures
• Build forecasts and production schedules for products or components
• Simulate stocking strategies and recommend the lowest total-cost option
• Conduct root-cause analysis of backordered or surplus products and recommend process improvements
• Optimize inventory deployment and balancing processes
• Develop reports to detect outliers and potential issues before they impact the system
• Support department strategic initiatives with projects integrated into teams beyond internship completion

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Engineering (Industrial preferred)
• Junior standing with 3.0 minimum GPA preferred
• Strong leadership abilities and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organization, communication, data analysis, and follow-up skills
• Project management experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement principles is a plus (Six Sigma, PMP, CPIM)
• Knowledge of data and visualization applications such as Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, TDV, KNIME, SAP, and Business Objects is a plus
• Unrestricted permanent US work authorization

Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in supply chain management, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Capable of optimizing inventory strategies and supporting process improvements through effective communication and project management.
