We've invested heavily in our Quality Department, including a world‑class Zeiss CMM machine that has helped us secure exciting new contracts. As our Parts business continues to grow, we're expanding our team and need an experienced CMM Programmer to help us maintain our reputation for excellence.

3411 Woodhead Dr, Northbrook, IL 60062
- Program and operate Zeiss CMM equipment using Calypso software.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain CMM inspection programs for new and existing parts.
- Verify calibration status and ensure measurement accuracy of CMM equipment.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to create inspection routines.
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure parts meet geometric dimensioning and tolerancing requirements.
- Document inspection results, generate detailed reports, and communicate findings to engineering and production teams.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on CMM programming experience (required).
- Zeiss CMM and Calypso software experience are strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
- Proven precision measurement skills and attention to detail.
- Previous inspection experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, or composites manufacturing.
- Bilingual skills (a plus).
- Familiarity with advanced materials such as composites and thermosets.
- CMM programming (Calypso software)
- Blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation

- Ability to operate micrometers, calipers, and different gauges.

Climate‑controlled manufacturing facility with state‑of‑the‑art CNC equipment. The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in an environment with noise and exposure to composite dust (proper PPE provided). Some flexibility for shift coverage may be required.
