Position Summary

The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing and supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations for Newmedical products, with a primary focus on mixing operations and order fulfillment. A significant portion of this role involves managing and processing international and Amazon orders, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to shipping and compliance requirements. The role also involves data entry and regular use of the company’s ERP system to track orders, inventory, and production activity.

The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of production or manufacturing experience, is reliable and detail-oriented, and is comfortable working with computer systems and documentation. Prior experience in the medical device industry is a plus.

Key Responsibilities Mixing & Production Operations
  • Perform mixing operations according to established formulas, batch records, and SOPs, ensuring accuracy in measurements, sequencing, and technique.
  • Operate production equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, filling equipment, and related machinery.
  • Monitor in-process conditions and make adjustments as needed to maintain product consistency and quality.
  • Support all phases of the production process, including material staging, production runs, and post-production clean up.
  • Communicate clearly with the production team and supervisor regarding batch status, issues, or deviations.
  • Process and coordinate a high volume of international and Amazon orders, ensuring accuracy in product selection, quantities, and shipping requirements.
  • Ensure international orders comply with applicable export requirements, documentation standards, and country-specific regulations.
  • Manage Amazon order workflows, including preparation, labeling, and fulfillment in accordance with Amazon seller requirements.
  • Perform data entry and order tracking in the ERP system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for all order activity,
  • Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, and customer service teams to resolve order discrepancies or delays in a timely manner.
Documentation & Recordkeeping.
  • Complete batch records, production logs, and other required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Record weights, measurements, and process data during production in accordance with cGMP requirements.
  • Maintain organized and legible production documentation that supports traceability and compliance.
  • Utilize the ERP system for data entry, order tracking, record lookup, and production documentation; proficiency required.
Quality & Complaince
  • Follow all SOPs, safety protocols, and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) throughout production.
  • Identify and promptly report any product, equipment, or process issues to the appropriate team member.
  • Participate in area housekeeping and ensure the production environment meets cleanliness and organization standards.
  • Support quality inspections and audits as needed by providing accurate documentation and demonstrating proper processes.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of experience in a production and manufacturing, or blending/mixing or warehousing
  • Hands-on mixing skills with the ability to follow formulations and batch instructions precisely is a plus.
  • Basic computer proficiency required, including data entry and use of standard office tools (email, spreadsheets).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Net Suite, or similar) is a plus.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written SOPs, batch records, and safety documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in both production tasks and paperwork
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting, including standing for extended periods and handling materials.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or coursework in manufacturing, chemistry, or a related field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in the medical device industry is a plus.

* This is a 1099 position, with opportunity to move to full time position after 90 days.*
