CNC Parts Washer Operator

The CNC Parts Washer Operator is responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and preparing machined components for the next stage of production. This position operates industrial parts washing equipment, ensures parts meet cleanliness standards, maintains a safe work environment, and supports production by delivering clean, damage-free components on time.

Operate industrial parts washing equipment according to established work instructions.

Load and unload CNC machined parts into washing equipment, baskets, or fixtures.

Clean parts using approved detergents, solvents, or aqueous cleaning systems.

Inspect parts for cleanliness, damage, burrs, and machining residue before releasing them to the next operation.

Ensure proper identification and traceability of parts throughout the cleaning process.

Maintain washer fluid levels, filters, and cleaning solutions as required.

Perform routine preventive maintenance and daily cleaning of parts washing equipment.

Dispose of waste materials and chemicals in accordance with company and environmental regulations.

Complete production documentation accurately and on time.

Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Maintain a clean, organized work area using 5S and Lean manufacturing principles.

Support other production departments as needed.

Requirements:

Ability to read basic work instructions and production paperwork.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality.

Preferences:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred.
Experience operating industrial parts washers is a plus.

Skills:

Ability to safely handle industrial cleaning chemicals.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to identify contamination or damage on machined components.
