Reaction Operator-North Brooks, IL

Reactions Operator is responsible for producing Savory Flavors using the reactions equipment and filling finished goods containers.

• Follow all safety requirements, work in a safe manner, and ensure co‑workers’ safety in all areas of operations.
• Processing requires the use of various types of scales, pumps, reaction tanks, and mixers.
• All records must be kept properly in accordance with the company’s GMP guidelines.
• Select the appropriate vessel based on the batch size and kosher requirements.
• Accurately and according to the formula, weight out the amount of raw materials needed. All raw materials must be scanned immediately upon completion of weigh up.
• According to the manufacturing instruction, add the raw materials into the reaction vessel, mix, achieve and maintain the required temperature and other process conditions per the work instructions.
• Select the screen specified by the formula, pack out ensuring accurate weight. Affix the specified labels and palletize per standard operating procedures.
• Fill out all production documents with initials and date where required to sign.
• Collect the required samples according to the work order instructions.
• Following lock‑out tag‑out and sanitizing procedures, clean and sanitize the equipment and room.
• Report any deviations from procedures to management.
• Follow Company GMP, safety, HACCP, Allergen, SSOP and kosher guidelines and procedures.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift, Safety, Respirator Protection, Lock‑out Training, GMP.

Drug screen and background check required.
