The Role We’re hiring an experienced 2nd Shift CNC Mill Setup Technician to independently set up and operate FANUC ROBODRILL CNC machining centers. You’ll plan setups from blueprint to first article, solve machining challenges in real time, and keep quality and throughput on target.

What You’ll Handle Complete setups and operate FANUC ROBODRILL CNC machining centers.

Interpret blueprints and work instructions; apply GD&T in practice.

Install tooling; establish and verify work and tool offsets.

Set up vises, fixtures, and robust work holding for repeatability.

Run first articles, confirm results, and adjust offsets as needed.

Track tool wear, replace cutters, and optimize tool life.

Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, indicators, and height gauges.

Hit quality and production goals while following all safety procedures.

What You Bring3+ years of CNC mill setup experience.

Hands-on background with FANUC ROBODRILL or comparable FANUC-controlled VMCs.Fluent in blueprint reading and GD&T.Strong with precision metrology: calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges.

Resourceful troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to maintain tight tolerances in production.
