Total Link to Community is looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Special Events Coordinator. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of fundraising events and community engagement activities that help advance Total Link’s mission and strengthen connections with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners.
Role Overview- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising and community events
- Help create meaningful event experiences that engage donors, sponsors, volunteers, and friends of Total Link
- Coordinate event logistics, communications, timelines, materials, and day‑of support
- Work closely with the Development team, volunteers, committees, and community partners
- Assist with sponsor and donor stewardship, including recognition materials, thank‑you letters, signage, and event benefits
- Support event communications, including invitations, attendee confirmations, social media coordination, and email reminders
- Maintain event records, budgets, task lists, contact lists, and post‑event reports
- Help coordinate event volunteers and committee members, including communication, assignments, and event‑day support
- Set up event registration through the website and One Cause
- College degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience coordinating events, including logistics, timelines, vendors, registration, setup, and day‑of execution
- Experience with nonprofit, fundraising, community, or volunteer‑based events preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Google Docs, and Canva required
- Experience with Little Green Light and One Cause preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with donors, sponsors, volunteers, participants, staff, and community partners

- Flexible schedule required, including evenings and approximately 7–10 weekends annually
