Senior Associate Director, Major Gifts
National Jewish Health is seeking a Senior Associate Director, Major Gifts to join the Chicago Regional Office in Northbrook. This role supports philanthropic partnerships across the Midwest and advances the institution's mission to heal, to discover and to educate. The ideal candidate is a strategic fundraiser with experience securing major gifts and managing a high-performing donor portfolio.
Position Highlights
- Manages and grows a portfolio of major gift donors, securing contributions of $25,000 and above
- Develops and executes fundraising strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals
- Identifies, cultivates, and solicits individual and foundation prospects
- Partners with leadership and volunteers to strengthen donor engagement
- Prepares proposals and maintains accurate donor records

Position Summary
Identify, cultivate and solicit donors and prospects capable of giving major, planned, capital, endowment, annual or event support. Works with Trustees or other volunteers and creates and implements strategies for donor cultivation and engagement. Develops a fundraising plan to meet defined revenue and activity goals.
