The Hecktman Family JCCs of Chicago is seeking a dynamic, dedicated Senior Development Officer to join our amazing team in Northbrook! This is a fundraising position: 5-8 years of fundraising experience required.
The Hecktman Family JCCs of Chicago is the largest of more than 170 Jewish Community Centers in North America – home to six early childhood centers, nine-day camps, one resident overnight camp, and a myriad of other programs and services focused on the care and keeping of children, family, and community. We are privileged to nurture our young learners and foster community day in and day out by bringing our mission to life.
The Hecktman Family JCCs of Chicago has served our community for over 100 years and reaches more than 100,000 community members yearly through our programs, services, and experience.
Reporting to the Chief Impact Officer, this role is responsible for a comprehensive donor cultivation, solicitation, and engagement strategy that will expand our community of support. The Senior Development Officer will actively manage a portfolio of donors and prospects from individuals and corporations soliciting 5‑and 6‑figure gifts.
