Our caregivers provide daily hands-on care for our rescue dogs, including:
- Cleaning kennels and maintaining the shelter
- Feeding, walking, exercising & enriching dogs
- Monitoring health and behavior
- Laundry, dishes and general cleaning
- Assisting with medications
- Safely handling dogs of all sizes, breeds & temperaments
- Supporting adopters, volunteers and fellow staff
Morning: 6:30 AM–1:00 PM
Afternoon: 1:00 PM–8:00 PM
We're looking for dependable team members who can commit beyond just the summer.
THE HIRING EVENTThis is hands-on! You'll work alongside our staff, interact with our dogs and get a feel for what the job actually entails — so come prepared to get dirty!
- Long pants required
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty
- Must be 18+ and complete a liability waiver
