Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager, you are part of the leadership team and help drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and strong community engagement. You will provide coaching to the sales team, collaborate with the leadership team to adapt strategies, and ensure smooth operational support as needed.
What You’ll Do- Support the Store Director and Associate Store Manager to directly impact business results by maximizing profitability.
- Own your designated division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling, etc.).
- Manage store operations, systems, and technology while ensuring accountability.
- Assist recruiting, training, and development efforts when required.
- Partner with the leadership team to create a collaborative working environment for all associates.
- Ensure the team consistently exceeds goals and delivers best‑in‑class customer service.
- Lead fit sessions that boost product knowledge and elevate customer connection.
- Develop innovative community engagement ideas through events.
- Step into a variety of roles on the sales floor as needed.
- Have 1–2 years of retail management experience with a similar scope.
- Passionately support the brand, customers, and teams.
- Stay up to date with current fashion trends and industry developments.
- Embrace teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy while executing tasks.
- Innovate, champion new ideas, and navigate uncertainty with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Have scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Can bend, reach, and lift at least 40 pounds (18 kilos).
