As a Sales Associate you will create memorable customer experiences, build relationships, and enhance the Saks OFF 5TH clienteling experience by offering personalized style advice and driving sales.

• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs.
• Maintain product knowledge and familiarize yourself with store inventory to provide accurate recommendations.
• Greet customers consistently and educate them on current promotions.
• Promote Saks credit card and encourage repeat business.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS register system.
• Resolve customer issues while upholding values of trust, integrity and respect.
• Achieve individual and store goals for sales, customer acquisition and loyalty program participation.
• Maintain the selling floor and fitting rooms – re‑size fixtures, execute markdowns, sign fixtures and windows when required.
• Support store programs, selling events, and special projects assigned by leadership.
• Adhere to asset protection protocols, shortage and theft awareness reporting.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail, customer service, or sales environment.
• Proven sales track record with results‑driven mindset.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to build relationships.
• Knowledge of fashion industry and passion for sharing expertise.
• Ability to act promptly in routine situations and devise plans for positive outcomes.
• Experience operating POS registers, ticket scanners, sensors, and radio equipment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
