AMTI Products is a globally recognized manufacturer of industrial benchtop automation serving the cable assembly & wire harness industry. Our equipment helps manufacturers improve workflow efficiency, throughput, and production consistency.

We are seeking a motivated Sales & Customer Service professional with strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and creative skills. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of sales support, customer interaction, digital marketing, content creation, and hands‑on involvement with technical industrial products.

Role Description

This is a full‑time, mostly on‑site role based in Northbrook, IL. The Sales & Customer Service Representative will support AMTI Products’ customer‑facing sales activities and some marketing initiatives. This individual will help generate and follow up on leads, maintain customer relationships, support digital marketing efforts, create sales materials, assist with trade shows, and help promote the company’s products across multiple channels.

The ideal candidate is creative, detail‑oriented, organized, comfortable learning technical products, and willing to work closely with management, engineering, sales, and customers.

Responsibilities
  • Follow up on new leads, referrals, website inquiries, trade show contacts, and other sales opportunities.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, quotes, sales contracts, and other sales‑related documents.
  • Develop and maintain current product information, sales materials, and customer‑facing resources.
  • Establish and maintain current and potential customer relationships within the company’s CRM system.
  • Assist with processing customer requirements, order information, and sales documentation within the company’s ERP software.
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, both on‑site and off‑site as needed.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, customer feedback, application details, and market insights to appropriate company staff.
  • Coordinate with internal staff to support sales opportunities, customer service needs, sample testing, product demonstrations, and project follow‑up.
  • Assist with planning, preparation, execution, and follow‑up for trade shows, customer site visits, product demonstrations, virtual events, and other marketing/sales events.
  • Support product presentations, demonstrations, and sales conversations with current and potential customers.
  • Monitor marketing performance using CRM data, website activity, campaign results, lead sources, and available analytics tools to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay current on marketing‑related technology trends, digital tools, and industry innovations to help keep the company’s marketing efforts competitive.
  • Develop and maintain marketing plans, schedules, and campaign calendars to identify target audiences and manage marketing activity accordingly.
  • Support product photography, video content, You Tube organization, and other visual marketing assets for use across the website, social media, email campaigns, and sales materials.
  • Support additional sales, marketing, and administrative projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 5 years experience or education in sales, marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels, including websites, email marketing, social media, SEO, content marketing, and online lead generation.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management software is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data, trends, campaign results, customer activity, and lead sources.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable creating or assisting with marketing materials, presentations, digital content, and customer‑facing resources.
  • Willingness to learn technical products and industrial applications.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with management, engineering, sales, and customer service teams.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Salary - $50,000 - $60,000 base plus commission.
