Security Officer — Full & Part Time — Northbrook, IL

Long term temporary assignment.

US $21.00 per hour

12‑hour shifts

• 5 pm–5 am, any day
• Saturday‑Sunday 5 am–5 pm

• Conflict resolution and de‑escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and different terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record required.
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience is a plus.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals calmly and professionally.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain alert throughout the shift.
• Must respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre‑employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
