Floor Installer - Hard Surfaces; Luxury Vinyl, Laminate

Floor Coverings International is a leading flooring franchise in North America, offering a shop‑at‑home installation service. We are seeking skilled and service‑oriented flooring installers to join our team.

• Install luxury vinyl plank/tile (LVP/LVT), laminate, etc.
• Install Floating and glue‑down floor systems to manufacturer specifications
• Perform subfloor prep including leveling, patching, moisture mitigation, and underlayment installation
• Complete layout, cuts, transitions, and trim work (reducers, T‑molds, stair noses, base/shoe) with precision
• Handle demo and removal of existing flooring as needed
• Daily and final cleanup of the job site to company standards
• Keep tools organized and clean and maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Ensure safe, organized, and efficient work practices at all times
• Ensure high quality company standards are met every time
• Job requires travel throughout the week

• You must review and understand the scope of work before arriving on site
• Have knowledge of units of measurement and be able to complete needed math calculations
• Interact with customers in a friendly and polite manner. Work to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with every aspect of the job
• Experience with residential and commercial projects is preferred

• 5 years in professional flooring installation
• Valid driver’s license and clean, reliable vehicle
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work
• The position requires repetitive crouching, squatting, standing, walking and lifting
• Own all the necessary trade tools and equipment for flooring installation
• Must have own insurance (general liability, workers comp, and auto) for all jobs
