AA Service Company Heating and Cooling seeks an experienced HVAC Installer to join our trusted team in Wheeling, IL. In this role, you'll install, replace, and start up residential and light commercial heating, cooling, and indoor air quality systems. Duties include reading blueprints, setting and connecting equipment, brazing and basic sheet metal work, and verifying system performance to code and manufacturer specs.
You'll interact directly with customers, uphold high safety and quality standards, complete documentation, and work closely with a professional, service-driven crew committed to reliability and long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Install and replace residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and job plans
- Set, connect, and start up furnaces, air conditioners, and IAQ equipment
- Perform brazing, basic sheet metal work, and refrigerant piping
- Verify system operation to code and manufacturer specifications
- Follow safety procedures and local mechanical and electrical codes
- Communicate with customers and explain work performed
- Complete job documentation, forms, and inventory usage
- Collaborate with installers and technicians to meet project timelines
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and a clean, professional work area
