Quality Engineer, MarTech

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with 2+ years of experience to support quality engineering initiatives across eCommerce, Digital, Customer Experience, and Marketing technology platforms.

You will be responsible for quality engineering efforts for high-visibility customer-facing applications, ensuring seamless, scalable, and reliable experiences across web, mobile, APIs, personalization engines, promotions, and omni-channel commerce solutions.

This role requires close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Business teams within Agile environments to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.

A day in the life as a Quality Engineer, Mar Tech...

+ Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for software features based on defined acceptance criteria with limited oversight.

+ Develop and maintain test documentation, including test cases and test scripts

+ Identify, document, and meticulously track software defects through their lifecycle

+ Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects

+ Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide a quality perspective

+ Contribute to the execution of various testing types (e.g., functional, regression, integration, performance)

+ Actively participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews) and contribute to team discussions focused on continuous quality improvement

+ Assist in the development and execution of automated tests

+ Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress and defect status

What you'll bring to the table...

+ Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

+ Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

+ Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing (familiarity with different automation tools is a plus)

+ Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ADO, xRay)

+ Good understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies

+ Basic programming/scripting skills (e.g., Java, JavaScript, dotNet ) for test automation

+

Experience with automation tools  (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright )

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

+ Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a quality engineering or software testing role

+ Experience working in agile development environments

+ Experience in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
