Position: Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2
Our client, an industry leader in data management and technology support, is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2 to join their dedicated team. As a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2, you will be part of the Data Center Operations team supporting logistics, inventory management, and data processing activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2
Location: Northlake, IL
Pay Range: $27/hr to $30/hr on W2
Work Hours:
Day Shift A: 12-hrs (Sun-Wed) & (Sun-Tue)

What's the Job?

• Perform assigned tasks related to physical inventory tracking and staging within the data center environment.
• Coordinate, prepare, and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities.
• Ensure compliance with data center regulatory standards through inventory cycle audits and data corrections.
• Handle material movement tasks such as shipping, receiving, and inventory management following standard procedures.
• Assist in the destruction of data-bearing devices (DBD) in accordance with documented procedures and runbooks.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or related fields within an IT environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Previous experience working in a data center environment is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow detailed procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with problem-solving capabilities.
