Job Overview
Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, production machines, boilers, pumps, liquid fillers, packaging equipment, material handling equipment, bulk delivery equipment, and blending/mixing systems. This position primarily focuses on the utilities side of maintenance.
Shift & ScheduleFull time 2nd shift (1:00pm to 9:30pm, Sunday‑Thursday). Requires flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Position Responsibilities- Observes equipment to ensure it operates to OEM standard or production satisfaction.
- Analyzes mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical problems and executes repairs through adjustments, replacement of defective parts, or fabrication.
- Answers maintenance calls promptly and assists others in troubleshooting.
- Performs routine PMs, repairs, rebuilds, and modifications on all assigned equipment.
- Wires moderately complex control circuits.
- Performs electronic component replacement, substitution, setup, and calibration.
- Fabricates, repairs, and installs hangers and all types of piping, including hot/cold water, steam, process, and condensate, utilizing formulas for all phases.
- Welds various types of metals.
- Machine most metals, plastics, and composites.
- Fabricates or replicates minor pieces for repair or replacement of parts on equipment.
- Completes size changeovers, makes adjustments, and troubleshoots liquid fillers and packaging equipment.
- Identifies problems and completes repairs with minimal downtime or supervision.
- Troubleshoots 3‑phase 480V motors and VFDs.
- Completes necessary paperwork associated with repairs or calibration.
- Completes work orders assigned to them or their department.
- Provides coverage and or assistance as needed throughout the facility to meet production schedules and equipment needs.
- Ensures work activities are performed with the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety requirements, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Follows all company policies & procedures as well as GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Maintains a high level of safety awareness for an accident‑free workplace.
- Reports unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety‑related issues to management.
- Compensation: $30.05–$38.11/hr with shift differential.

- 1 year maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- 1 year of experience troubleshooting 3‑phase (480V) circuits, motor starters, controls, and electronic circuit boards.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds repeatedly; walk and stand for extended periods.
