Merchandise Specialist

Empire Today is looking for a Merchandise Specialist to join our Merchandising team. The Merchandise Specialist is responsible for ensuring products flow smoothly from vendors to our distribution centers, maintaining accurate product data, and supporting internal and external relationships.

$60,000 per year plus bonus.

• Partner daily with cross‑functional team members and the sales team to support product questions and resolve customer issues.
• Co‑lead the Product Line Review (PLR) activities from start to finish by partnering with all relevant cross‑functional team members.
• Support an assigned Merchant/Product group with daily operational needs and financial tracking.
• Manage vendor relationships end to end for product onboarding, marketing needs, and product availability.
• Own and maintain SKU and product data integrity by ensuring accurate SKU setup, then maintaining costs, attributes, and system uploads.
• Assist with reporting inventory, sales performance, and product flow issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain, or related field or equivalent hands‑on experience in merchandising, buying, vendor management, or operations in a fast‑paced, detail‑driven environment.
• Comfortable with Excel and working with large data sets.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills enabling you to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, while staying organized and without losing accuracy.
• Strong communication skills—able to interact confidently with cross‑functional partners, all levels of management, and vendor partners.
