Job Summary

Forklift Operator in Northlake, IL. Responsible for loading and unloading materials using hand truck, reach truck, or forklift. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and identify discrepancies in receiving loads against the manifest. Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink-wrap materials.

• Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks.
• Pick, pack, scan, kit, count products and perform related duties.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ensure compliance with TSA and OSHA guidelines and maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink‑wrap materials.
• Experience using an RF scan gun is required.
• Previous forklift certifications preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, including occasional weekends.
• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions.
• Must work well with others, with little supervision.
• High attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs unassisted.
• Must have ability to speak, read, and write in English.

• 1 year experience with sit‑down forklift.
• 1 year warehouse experience.

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, stooping, kneeling, crouching, using hands, reaching, bending, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds unassisted, and using pallet jacks and forklifts.
