Why Join CDN Logistics?
Founded in 1998, CDN Logistics, Inc. is a dynamic transportation and logistics company providing service throughout the continental United States, Canada, and Mexico.
This role provides an opportunity to become a trusted operational resource within a growing transportation organization. Your decisions will directly support our drivers, protect customer commitments, and help ensure a successful transition from one operating day to the next.
At CDN Logistics, our drivers mean the world to us. The Night & Weekend Transportation Tracking Coordinator plays an important role in fulfilling that commitment by ensuring drivers have a capable, responsive partner whenever they are on the road.
If you are an experienced transportation professional who thinks ahead, works well independently, communicates effectively, and takes pride in solving problems when others are off the clock, we would like to hear from you.
At CDN, reliability, flexibility, and quality service rule the road. Our drivers mean the world to us, and we are committed to giving them the responsive, knowledgeable support they need—regardless of the hour.
About the Opportunity
Transportation does not stop when the traditional business day ends—and neither does our commitment to our drivers and customers.
CDN Logistics is seeking a knowledgeable and resourceful Night & Weekend Dispatcher to serve as an extension of our daytime Driver Management team. This individual will provide critical off-shift operational coverage by supporting over-the-road drivers, monitoring active shipments, communicating with customers, coordinating roadside maintenance, and resolving problems that could affect service.
It takes a special person to succeed in this role. The right candidate will be forward-thinking, independent, highly knowledgeable, and personable. You must be able to anticipate problems, make sound decisions with limited supervision, and remain calm when drivers and customers need immediate answers. This is an opportunity for an experienced transportation professional who takes ownership, communicates confidently, and understands that overnight decisions can determine the success of the following business day.
Work Schedule
This is specifically an off-shift position. Candidates must be prepared to work an assigned schedule that includes nights, weekends, and potentially holidays. Available or assigned schedules may include:
Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
Sunday through Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Friday through Monday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Schedules will be assigned based on operational needs. Flexibility to provide occasional coverage outside the regularly assigned schedule—including additional overnight or weekend hours—are required.
