IT Warehouse Hardware Technician

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or inventory related environment
• Interest in IT equipment and hardware, ideally an understanding of computer hardware from a job or personal experience
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, strong technical aptitude
• Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Excellent attitude, team‑player, able to work on a large team
• Reliable and hard‑working

• Carry out daily warehouse and inventory tasks with accuracy, escalating issues appropriately during periods of high volume or unusual activity.
• Safely decommission cloud network hardware, including following all documented guidelines for the destruction of servers
• Maintain thorough physical inventory tracking by organizing, labeling, and staging equipment for processing or decommission
• Coordinate, prepare, and manage incoming and outgoing hardware shipments, including PO receiving and rack movement activities.
• Conduct routine inventory cycle counts, record corrections, and support data center compliance and audit requirements.
• Handle material movement throughout the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, and updating inventory systems according to established procedures.
• Apply process knowledge and sound judgment to determine next steps and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate effectively with a large team, bringing a positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic to daily operations.
