Job Overview
The Maintenance Specialist coordinates the replenishment of cost‑effective, quality materials to support the manufacturing process and maintain target stock levels. The role proactively anticipates and manages lead times to ensure minimal production and maintenance interruption, while keeping the parts room clean and orderly.
Shift & ScheduleThis is a full‑time position on 2nd shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.
Responsibilities- Maintain and run reports for established metrics for the department visual management board.
- Manage the ordering process of all parts in SAP and non‑SAP parts (consumable). Weekly review the requisition list in SAP driven by consumed parts, identify the proper vendor for the parts, contact the vendor for correct pricing, create a PO for the needed parts and send to the vendor, and track all shipments.
- Receive incoming materials, conduct visual inspection, verify shipping documentation, place items in appropriate storage, update SAP, and address any issues during this process, including A/P resolutions and paperwork research.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Technicians & Supervisors on non‑stock items, including researching, competitive pricing, affirming timelines, ordering, receiving, and distribution to the appropriate project.
- Maintain the Maintenance parts list in SAP, tracking and reporting monthly, and keep accurate inventory levels of parts and ERSA materials. Conduct physical inventories of parts and materials as determined by Finance throughout the year.
- Generate purchase orders per management and technician requests, determine the proper GL for the request, track all costs for POs, and report to management for budget requirements. Work closely with Finance.
- Follow the established process to add new parts to SAP in collaboration with Vendors and the Master Data team.
- Coordinate with preferred vendors to maintain proper parts, including working closely with Grainger to manage the vending machine and other non‑inventory items.
- Stage incoming parts from work orders for the completion of ongoing jobs.
- Perform any additional tasks as needed.
- Hourly pay range: $19.47 – $30.19.
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors.

- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience managing inventory or in a maintenance support role.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with SAP or other CMMS systems highly preferred.
