Part-time/On-call (15 - 25 hours per week)

This part-time/on-call position will answer to the Facilities Supervisor. Main duties will include cleaning and general maintenance of City buildings, cemetery maintenance and landscaping/mowing city property. The average weekly hours are anticipated to be between 15 to 25 hours. (Will not exceed an average of 30 weekly hour) CDL is preferred, however training is available if you do not currently have a CDL but are willing to learn!

• Perform simple building maintenance, i.e. cleaning, sweeping, painting.
• Remove and trim trees with the appropriate hand and power equipment.
• Assist in the maintenance of cemeteries with the use of related power equipment, i.e. lawnmowers, sweepers, and related hand tools
• Perform minor routine equipment maintenance.
• Perform simple building maintenance, i.e. cleaning, sweeping, painting.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.

• Valid Michigan Driver's License and good driving record.
• Ability to operate a variety of small equipment and tools.
• Ability to work effectively with other employees.
• Ability to work effectively with the public.
• Ability to work effectively with changes in work priorities and emergencies.
• Must be 18 or older.
