An On‑Site Maintenance person must be familiar with basic maintenance repairs including but not limited to proper preparation and painting of units; electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc. Since all service requests must be submitted to the rental office, and the office coordinates re‑rental of vacant units and other maintenance needs, the Roving Maintenance Person is responsible for coordinating maintenance work schedules. The Maintenance Person is required to perform his or her assigned duties for the development during a forty (40) hour workweek.
Work hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. You are entitled to two 15‑minute breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Due to the nature of property management, there will be an occasional emergency.

Other duties as assigned. Various duties may be assigned that are not mentioned in this job description. It is your responsibility to read and understand Barker Management's manual in regard to the maintenance procedures and policies to ensure that all procedures and policies are being correctly followed.
Prior experience working at a residential property with 20+ units is preferred.
