Middle School Math & Science Teacher — Regina Pacis Academy

Regina Pacis Academy is the first Catholic school in the state of Connecticut and one of the first twenty schools nationwide to earn the honor of being a Newman Guide recommended school. We are in an exciting period of growth and are seeking a dedicated and skilled Math and Science teacher for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year.

• Teaching pre‑algebra and algebra, with classroom cohorts spanning grade‑level and above grade‑level students.
• Teaching Earth Science (Grade X), Physical Science (Grade Y), and Biology (Grade
  8), with regular lab components.
• Delivering informative lectures and fostering inquisitive discussions for science instruction.
• Planning and executing laboratory assignments tailored to the Next Generation Science Standards.
• Communicating the joy and wonder of mathematics and natural sciences to middle schoolers.

• At least two years of classroom experience teaching math and/or science to middle schoolers.
• Familiarity with bringing students up to grade‑level proficiency and challenging advanced learners within the same classroom environment.
• Experience delivering lectures and guiding laboratory work that makes science accessible and engaging.
• Preparation of students for standardized testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM major.

The salary range is commensurate with years of teaching experience and credentials.
