We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced person to join our public school team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors while overseeing the daily custodial operations of the school building. The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude & appearance and be self‑motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the school during the afternoon and evening hours. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, classrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas; maintaining glass surfaces, drinking fountains, and high‑touch areas; assisting with cafeteria cleanup and trash removal; setting up tables and equipment for after‑school programs and events; vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and operating custodial equipment as needed.

The Custodian will also respond to routine cleaning requests, remove trash and recycling, and help ensure the building is clean, secure, and ready for the next school day. The ideal candidate is reliable, works well independently and as part of a team, works with the lead custodian on day‑to‑day responsibilities and is committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and positive learning environment for students, staff, and visitors of the facility.

Must be able to follow instructions from lead custodian, supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.

Prior cleaning/janitor experience is a plus but will train.

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Reliable transportation.

Be able to use the auto scrubber machine.

Be able to set up for events.

Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

Full-time

Hours: 40hrs/week,10:00a.m - 7:00p.m, Monday - Friday
