** Facilities Technician (FT – Year-Round)
** The Shore and Country Club is seeking a dependable and skilled
** Facilities Technician
** to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the Club's buildings, grounds, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for members, guests, and employees. The Facilities Technician performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and facility improvement projects while helping to maintain the Club's high standards and appearance.

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with a strong maintenance background who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and improving facilities. This is a

* ** that requires availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays during the season**.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Club buildings, facilities, and equipment.
* Complete work orders efficiently and in accordance with Club standards.
* Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical issues.
* Perform interior and exterior painting, patching, and touch-up work as needed.
* Assist with facility improvement projects, renovations, and seasonal maintenance tasks.
* Maintain HVAC, lighting, doors, locks, fixtures, and other building systems.
* Inspect facilities regularly and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
* Assist with setup and breakdown of events, furniture, equipment, and seasonal amenities.
* Operate, maintain, and properly store tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
* Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
* Follow all Club safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
* Assist other departments with operational and maintenance needs as assigned.
** Qualifications
* ** High school diploma or equivalent required
* 2–4 years of facilities maintenance, building maintenance, property maintenance, or related experience
* Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair techniques
* Experience troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment and systems
* Experience in a club, hospitality, residential, commercial, or recreational environment is a plus
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and within a team, and prioritize tasks effectively
* Positive and professional demeanor with members, guests, and staff
** Physical Requirements
*** Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. (with assistance or equipment as needed)
* Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely
* Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
* Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours during the season
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and occasionally noisy environment
